Literature Text

It is not a matter of words, it is a matter of action.

A trait represented of this is Responsibility.  A responsible person, such as a Samurai, need not make a promise.  To even mention something, should be a promise.  To a Samurai, just to mention something holds more weight than a blood oath.  Saying and doing are the same thing, the same action, so Samurai do not make promises or even mention something they cannot do or fulfill.  And if they do promise or mention something, they will fight for what they have said to the point of their dying breath.

This one trait alone is one of the staple points of Bushido.

Say no action, take no action,
say action, do action.

Simple as that.
yet another interpretation of the Hagakure of Tsunetomo Yamamoto and Bushido Shoshinsu of Taira Shigesuke.

Very interesting. And it SHOULD be that way with everyone. Just...not to the extreme of killing people. But, yeah. I really like this. You should have it in stanzas. I think it would work well that way!
